Kubota’s BX231 sub-compact tractor has been designed to meet the ever-changing needs of turf professionals, equine and large estate users and is capable of fulfilling a wide range of requirements.
Despite its compact size, the BX231 boasts a powerful Kubota three-cylinder 23HP diesel engine, offering an impressive 17kw, whilst also featuring a two-speed hydrostatic transmission for maximum power.
With three independent mounting areas for equipment – front, mid and rear mounted, the sub-compact tractor utilises cutting edge technology and design for maximum performance.
Featuring a new drive-over mower deck, the BX231 makes mowing simple and straightforward, as no tools are required to attach or detach the 54” and 60” side discharge mower decks. Users simply have to drive over the deck to attach and reverse to release, which also makes maintenance quick and easy to complete with minimal downtime when changing implements.
The machine is also available with a 48” rear discharge and side discharge mower decks and optional mulching kit for supreme cutting performance across all types of terrain. Regardless of the deck used, the BX231 continues to maintain a high ground clearance, ensuring it can easily travel over uneven ground and protruding obstacles.
Key service areas can be accessed quickly and easily via the engine hood, which can be unlocked from the outside and effortlessly lifted. This significantly minimises the time usually required for maintenance.
