The Cornwall Farm Business Awards which recognises and celebrates the hard work and dedication of farmers in Cornwall has now been launched for the 2016 competition.
Nomination forms are now available to download and complete. If you are a farmer, you can nominate yourself or ask others to nominate you, such as your banker; solicitor; vet or a supplier. Suppliers are more than welcome to nominate their clients.
The awards will conclude with a black tie dinner using Cornish produce at The Pavilion Centre, Royal Cornwall Showground on Thursday 25th February 2016.
Addington Fund Chief Executive Ian Bell says “Farming today is a tough business as the industry copes with the volatility of global prices, with pressure on all commodities across the world. Additional pressures of regulation and coping with weather conditions can make life on a family farm very demanding, but never ever underestimate the pride that our farmers take in producing our food”.
This will be the seventh Cornwall Farm Business Awards which is supported by principal sponsor Stephens Scown LLP, and sponsors Western Morning News; BBC Radio Cornwall; CLA; Worldwide Financial Planning; AMC; Humberts; NFU; NFU Mutual; Barclays; Rodda’s; Francis Clark Chartered Accountants; Cornish Mutual; Robinson Reed Layton.
