The Kverneland Optima is the universal pneumatic precision drill for maize, sunflowers, field beans, unpelleted beet, pelleted beet, dwarf beans, soya beans, peas, and many other types of seeds. The rigid Optima R is the lighter version complementing the Optima RS within the full range of Optima models. The Optima R can be used for a whole diversity of applications and offers great capacity by increased working widths from 3 to 6m. A lengthwise transport device is not available. All rigid Optima frames can be equipped with either mechanical or electric drive. Standard rows, tandem rows, HD-II and SX rows are available. The Optima R can be combined with an optional fertiliser spreader or front hopper. All Optima with electric drive (HD-II/SX) can be equipped with micro-drill.
